  Easy Items To Make
  Below are recipes for a couple things you can learn to make. Household items and patience can help you create things you will need to survive.
Bucket Stove

You will need:

  • One metal bucket
  • 4 or 5 wire hangers
  • One sharp screw driver or chisel
  • One large fruit can cut down and spread to form a shield
 

Around the bucket three inches from the top poke a series of holes two inches apart. They should circle the circumference of the bucket.

You will need:

  • String

  Break up coal into small pieces. Cut tee shirt into pouch size and fill with small piece of coal. Sew around the tee shirt to form closed off pouch. Sew around the pouch, a skirt of cloth. Place pouch over opening of jar and secure with string or twine tied around the pouch's skirt. Pour water slowly over.
Expedient Lamp

You will need:

  • One Mayonnaise jar large
  • Thin line wire
  • Cooking oil
  • Long wick
  • Two nails
  With a piece of wires twit the nails in a cross. Tie end of long wick to the center of cross. Place cross in jar. Holding wick up, fill jar half way up with cooking oil. Light wick.
