What Is Your View Of The World's End?

Answers in no particular order.
"There are some who seem to hinge on the thought that the world will meet its demise at the turn of the millenium. When the truth is The biggest threat to the world as we know it is a natural occurance. Plague, meteor, solar flare. Nova. Life will go on, no matter what. The only extinction that we as people face, one that there is no hope for most of us, no getting out of, no escaping is that of extintion brought on by God. And I really don't believe that one. So I'll stick to my 'natural causes' theory."
Dr. Jason Godrishson. Head of Quantum Physics, University of Utah.

"I think that for answers to the world's end, we've not far to seek. There's no Internet searching involved. No looking through data bases. On any library or store's book shelf, in any hotel room, in most homes, and in any church the answer can be found. The world will not end by any foreign country, irate leader or freak act of nature. The world will end only one way. God's hand."
Reverend Robert Hardon. Church of New Beginnings, Montana.

"Life will always prevail no matter what. Unless the earth goes nova. But in any instant, natural, man made, God, there will be people left. And I believe man is the biggest threat to human survival in a post-apocalyptic world. We must always remember, from animals we evolved to build civilization, and when civilization falls, so shall we evolve into animals again."
Dr. Forrest Ceceres, Authur 'The World's Last Stand'.

"For millions of years we kept going. Is the world going to end? Yes. No matter what the casue, will man bring about his own extinction? Yes. Will we be ready? No. There is no reason not to be prepared, whether it be your lifetime or your childrens. We know about it. We know what could happen. There is no excuse not to be ready. Only the strong will survive. That is not just a saying, it's the truth."
Joseph A. Slagel, Security Specialist.

"I looked at the earth and it was empty and formless. I looked at the heavens and there was no light. I looked at the mountains and the hills and they trembled and shook. I looked and all the people were gone. The birds had flown away. I looked and the fertile fields had become a wilderness. The cities lay in ruins, crushed by the Lord's fierce anger."
The Bible, Book of Jeremiah, 4:22
